Cost-effective solution to ground stabilisation

The cost of stabilising ground on brownf ield sites could be greatly reduced thanks to experimental work carried out at a former open cast colliery in Cannock, Staffordshire. Land regeneration contractor Buckingham Group Contracting was hired by developer Morston Assets to carry out a major earthworks surcharging on the second phase of its Morston Court development at the Kingswood Lakeside business park.
