Morgan Sindall bags ￡50m in education deals

Morgan Sindall has secured two education contracts worth ￡50 million. The company's construction and infrastructure division will carry out the second phase of redevelopment of the University of Reading's halls of residence under a ￡28m deal. The second contract is a ￡22m award from North Lanarkshire Council as part of its ￡250m Schools and Centres 21 programme. Construction is set to begin in March.The halls of residence are expected to be complete by July 2012. Morgan Sindall has been awarded the contract as one of the University's construction partners in a four-year redevelopment framework worth approximately ￡200m.
