Speedy Group sees increase in revenue

Speedy Group increased revenue by 5.6 per cent in the three months to the end of June. In the UK and Ireland, its Asset Services division (which accounts for more than 95 per cent of the group's income) saw underlying revenue increase by 2.5 per cent, although UK yields fell slightly. The increase comes despite the quarter including Easter, the May bank holidays and the Queen's Jubilee, although the company has indicated that it expects second quarter trading to be affected by the Olympics.
