Murphy chief executive and director to exit

Murphy Group's chief executive and strategy and business development director will leave the company this month. Development director Colin Courtney will step down at the end of September, Construction News understands, after being appointed to the role in April 2013. He joined the company from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, where he briefly worked as a construction industry strategist. Prior to this he worked in various roles at Skanska for more than a decade. During his time with Murphy, Mr Courtney was also appointed to the Green Construction Board.
