Construction News understands Miller Construction chief executive Chris Webster has left the Miller Group, following Galliford Try's takeover of the construction arm last week. Galliford Try announced it had struck a deal to buy the business for £16.57m last week. Mr Webster joined Miller Construction in September 2010 having previously been chief operating officer and board director at Amey, where he spent almost 20 years. Ken Gillespie, Galliford Try construction chief executive, told Construction News at the time the deal was announced that he expected Mr Webster to stay with Miller Group.
