Kier has been named preferred bidder for two Anglian Water deals worth up to £130m over 15 years, appointed to £100m of healthcare works through ProCure21+ and won the £44m Nottinghamshire batch of schools under the Priority School Building Programme. "The volume of opportunities [in construction] has increased," Mr Mursell said. "Work is coming through in the private sector and the public sector, and it's not just in London and the South-east - it's right across the country. "In the public sector it's health and education; in the private sector it's commercial, regulated utilities and energy."
