Bowmer & Kirkland wins £25m Hinckley job

Bowmer & Kirkland has been appointed to a retail and cinema development in a deal worth around £25m. Construction of the Crescent, a £60m development in Hinckley town centre, is due to start within the next few weeks. B&K beat Galliford Try and Miller to the job under a two-stage tender that originally went out to six contractors. It was appointed by developer Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership, a joint venture between Centenary Ashcroft and Wilson Bowden Developments. Hinckley and Bosworth Council will serve notice to all landowners on the bus station site of its intention to proceed with the work as soon as the site is vacated.
