NG Bailey worked closely with the client Arla Foods for months before starting work on site on this major project to provide the mechanical and engineering work for one of Europe's largest dairies and its facilities management services for the next 15 years. The ambition was for the £150m project to become the first carbon-zero dairy in the world. Offsite construction was at the heart of NG Bailey's contribution, enabling the dairy's main services distribution corridor to be delivered in five weeks compared with the usual 12 and reducing site traffic and material waste.
