Payment term talks hit 'sticking point'

The Construction Leadership Council has reached a "sticking point" on the payment terms in private sector contracts in its new supply chain charter, Construction News has been told. Electrical Contractors Association director of business services Paul Reeve said a proposed supply chain charter was in "a very delicate place". The charter has been drafted by the Institute of Credit Management and will tackle issues including prompt payment. It is due to be published this month.
