Subcontractor packages for the first phase of Scarborough Group's £700m Middlewood Locks job in Salford will be tendered in Q1 2016, its development director has said. Work in phase one includes the construction of 570 homes as well as around 29,000 sq ft of commercial space, totalling £500m. Scarborough Group development director Lee Savage said: "As you can imagine with something on this scale, some of the subcontractor packages are bigger than normal main contractor packages."
