2014 saw the Victoria station upgrade complete the first large-scale use of jet grouting for UK tunnel construction. To manage the project's challenges, the team used BIM to highlight potential risk areas of gaps in the ground treatment block that was created to provide a safe environment for tunnelling, as well as to improve integrated planning between disciplines.
