Interserve has failed in an attempt to sell its multi-million-pound offsite manufacturing plant after a prospective buyer withdrew its offer. Construction News reported in May that Interserve was looking to sell its Ellesmere Port plant after closing the facility in April. The contractor said at the time that it was "aware of interest" from an unnamed buyer, which subsequently made an offer for the site.
