Bechtel UK turnover up but profit decreases

US engineering giant Bechtel has posted a 9 per cent increase in turnover from its UK operations, while operating profit for the wider UK business fell 11 per cent. Turnover from UK operations stood at £147.2m for the year to 31 December 2015, up from £l35.2m a year earlier. Bechtel's UK operations form the largest part of its UK business, which also involves operations in the Middle East and Europe.
