Lendlease wins £80m Liverpool university job

Lendlease has secured an £80m contract with Liverpool John Moores University to deliver the redevelopment of a mixed-use building. Work has already begun on site, where the contractor is transforming a former Royal Mail sorting office into a "flagship" university building. The Copperas Hill project will include three libraries, a teaching unit, sports facilities and office space. Enabling work on the project is due to complete in August, with main construction set to start in the summer. The project is scheduled to be completed in the first six months of 2018.
