Collaboration: a word often thrown around by construction professionals. Whether as organisations or with their supply chains, contractors are keen to be seen collaborating on projects to save time and money. It's not often, however, that construction professionals truly collaborate with those outside the built environment sector, never mind their immediate project team or peer group. Perhaps this is understandable. Construction is, after all, a low-margin, high-risk business.
