More than £2bn still to be spent under roads framework

Highways England still has more than £2bn to spend on construction projects through its flagship Collaborative Delivery Framework, Construction News can reveal. A freedom of information request revealed that £2.72bn had so far been spent on the design and delivery of construction projects procured through the much-vaunted framework -some £2.28bn below its maximum threshold.
