Industry names in New Year honours

Chartered Institute of Building chief executive Chris Blythe has received an OBE in the New Year's Honours. Mr Blythe, who has led the organisation for 17 years, was recognised for services to construction and the government. Michael Conway, chief executive of infrastructure services company FM Conway, received an MBE for services to construction, infrastructure support and road safety.
