Leeds city centre revamp gets green light

Leeds City Council has given the green light to a £350m city centre redevelopment. Developer CEG's South Bank mixed-use scheme received unanimous backing from the council's plans panel. Plans for the development, which is spread across a 3.5 ha site, were first lodged with the council in September 2017. CEG sought permission for two mixed-use office, retail and leisure developments totalling up to 26,100 sq m.
