Site-safety discussions left out of CLC records

Construction Leadership Council (CLC) discussions about how site-operating procedures were drawn up have been left out of the first publication of minutes by the group since 2019. From November 2019, when CN highlighted the fact that no construction minister had attended a meeting of the body that they co-chair in more than a year, until Monday this week, no minutes from any CLC meeting had been posted online. According to the official ministerial register of meetings, the then construction minister, Nadhim Zahawi, attended two CLC meetings, one in January and one in June 2020. However, neither of those were included in the newly published documents, which relate to four meetings held between April and November. Zahawi did not attend any of those discussions, according to the minutes. The published minutes start from April, about a month after the first version of the CLC's site-operating procedures was released.They do not reference the issuance and withdrawal within a matter of hours of a second version of the procedures.
