Applications for £343m energy grid connection

Planning applications have been submitted for the first elements of a subsea cable project to connect the electricity grids of Great Britain and Ireland. Greenlink Interconnector has put in applications for a foreshore licence to Ireland's Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government and a marine licence application to Natural Resources Wales.
