CN Payment 100: Poor payment pain for everyone

The data is in and the numbers have been available for the industry to pore over since last week - the 100 largest contractors take a median average of 43 days to settle an invoice. It's not quite the 120-day nightmare stories that many from across the sector have complained about in the past (and which Carillion's 'early payment facility' made possible), but it is well above the 30-day target of the Prompt Payment Code.
