Peabody to build 1,000 homes on ex-prison site

Peabody has been appointed to build more than 1,000 homes on the former Holloway prison site. The housing association bought the 4 ha site following a £42m loan from the mayor of London's land fund. Peabody will work on the project with developer London Square and architects AHMM. Alongside the homes, the development will include a public green space, retail spaces and a centre for women.
