Kier scoops science museum storage contract

Kier has scooped the contract to build a new facility in Wiltshire for the Science Museum Group. It will build the 280,000 sq ft National Collections Centre scheme, a storage facility for the museum's collections, which will also be open to the public. Construction was due to start last week and work is expected to complete in early 2020. The museum, which will house more than 300,000 items, is due to be opened to the public by 2023.
