Laing O'Rourke suffers more losses on Canadian hospital

Laing O'Rourke will report further losses in its 2018 accounts, stemming from a troubled Canadian PFI hospital project. The contractor confirmed to Construction News that it had been hit by further losses on the CAD$2.1bn (£l.2bn) Centre hospitalier de l'Universite de Montreal (CHUM) after its joint-venture partner on the job, OHL, announced it had lost €102m (£88.4m) on the project in the first nine months of 2018.
