More than 370 jobs are to be lost after Scottish specialist McGill & Co collapsed into administration. Blair Nimmo and Geoff Jacobs of KPMG have been appointed as joint administrators for the specialist firm, with 374 employees made redundant with immediate effect and 55 retained to assist in the winding down of the firm. The company owns a number of freehold properties as well as current contracts, a forward order book, and plant and equipment.
