Three win deals for £15bn Wylfa nuclear power plant

Three companies including Atkins have won deals to support the design and construction of the £15bn Wylfa Newydd nuclear plant in north Wales. Atkins, KBR and Wood are the latest companies to be chosen as partners on the proposed Anglesey plant, for which they will support the delivery of the nuclear island. Atkins, which was bought by SNC Lavalin last year, will assist the civil engineering design for the island, KBR will work on project controls, and Wood will support the island's architectural engineering.
