Continuing Professional Development (CPD) has been top of the agenda for many Scottish CIOB members in the past couple of months with CIOB seminars receiving high attendance.rnThe Aberdeen Centre hosted a seminar on dealing with sustainable construction/green issues which prompted good feedback. Speakers included Wayne Ward, commercial director of BRE, and Hamish Morrison, managing director of Core structures.rnThe Centre's annual contracts/legal seminar was this year on arbitration and adjudication presented by Jennifer Young and Roddy Cormack, lawyers andrnconstruction specialists with Ledingham Chalmers. Doug Diddes, managing partner with quantity surveyor Baxter Dunn & Cray, also presented.
