Cat renews large mobile shear line

Cat has introduced two new mobile shears designed for use on large excavators - the 6,870 kg S365C and 8,320 kg 385C. According to Cat, the two new shears are matched to its own excavators for optimum lift and hydraulic performance. In scrap processing, the S365C can be boom mounted on both the 336D L and 345D L machines. For demolition, it can be stick mounted on the 365C L and 374D L. The larger S385C can be boom mounted on the 345D L and 374D L, and stick mounted on the 385C L. The 365D has a jaw opening of 84,5 cm while the comparable figure for the S385C is 88 cm.
