Development bank offers infrastructure support

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) have approved a string of new loans to help finance infrastructure projects throughout the Euro Area. In Macedonia, EBRD lent €107 million to support the construction of a new 28km section of the north-south pan-European transport corridor Corridor X- a road which connects the country to Serbia and with the rest of Europe in the north, and with Greece in the south.
