German concrete contractor Betonlift has used two Schwing SPB 30 concrete placing booms and an S 34 X truck-mounted concrete pump on a high-rise project in Hamburg.Two towers of 22 and 24 storeys respectively, known as the Dancing Towers, are emerging into the Hamburg skyline from a 5,400m2 construction site. The SPB 30 placing booms are capable of reaching 30m, and are using Schwing's self-climbing system to allow the position of the placing boom to be matched to construction progress.
