Fuel-efficient ADTs

UK-based Land Engineering Services (LES) has purchased four of Bell Equipment's 40 tonne B50D articulated dump trucks (ADTs) to haul overburden at a former open-cast colliery in the UK. All four trucks are at work at Comrie Colliery, in Fife, Scotland, which is currently undergoing a reclamation scheme. LES director lain Devine said, "We decided to go with the Bell B50D, which is still the biggest ADT on the market.
