The Islamic Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, have agreed to invest €76 million in the Arab Infrastructure Investment Vehicle (AIIV). The AIIV is expected to grow to up to €378 million and the funds will be spent on projects such as roads, ports, rail, electricity and water treatment plants.
