Crews were given two weeks to complete a project to construct a new drainage system in the Portuguese village of Cascais, and work could only be carried out during the night.Caterpillar road building equipment was used by contractor Sanestradas to meet the challenge, which included replacing the existing 65m of damaged curb with 200mm layers of crushed aggregate and applying a 110mm binder layer on top.This was followed by the wear layer at an average thickness of 60mm.
