Doosan Construction Equipment's new DX255LC-5 25 tonne crawler excavator meets the latest Stage IV emission regulations. The company said it also offered enhanced comfort and controllability together with new features to boost uptime and return on investment, with a focus on increased power, robustness and agility. While overall dimensions are very similar to the previous DX255LC-3 model, Doosan said the DX255LC-5 Stage IV excavator combined greater power with a 500kg increase in operating weight, resulting in increases of up to 17% in lifting capacities over both the front and side. There is also a 1dBA reduction in sound levels.
