The new Ranger DXi series of drill rigs from Sandvik is said to have several new high-performing features for improving the drilling process including 55m2 drilling coverage equipped with new powerful rockdrill, and Sandvik-style intelligence and high fuel efficiency. Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology has worked with drilling solutions more than 50 years. It said that all of the Ranger DXi-series top hammer surface drill rigs featured a revolving superstructure. The new Ranger DX900i with 290° reach was said to enable drilling coverage of 55m2, which saved working time and minimised the need to reposition the rig.
