New at the show will be Hamm's GRW 280 pneumatic (rubber-tired) roller, which the company claims has revolutionary design. Features include a single comfortable, adjustable seat for maximum freedom of movement in place of the previous set-up with two seats. For the first time, viewing channels in the frame structure offer a view of the edges and the tires of the outer wheels. In addition, a novel suspension of the front wheels allows for an uninterrupted view towards the front. The GRW 280 has an operating weight of 10-30US tons (9-27tonnes).
