WorkStar 7000 (shown) and PayStar 5000 remain International's Class 8 vocational offerings. Both models use Navistar's medium-, medium-heavy and heavy-duty MaxxForce diesels that are getting selective catalytic reduction equipment from Cummins. The PayStar is available with Cummins' ISX15, which is the only engine in the on-highway version, the 9900L The ISX15 has replaced the MaxxForce 15, which was dropped after just a few were built. WorkStar was available with a gas conversion of the MaxxForce DT, but that's gone following bankruptcy by its supplier, Emissions Solutions Inc. MaxxForce 13 powers the Continental-brand rear-engine, front-discharge mixer, built under contract by Indiana Phoenix.
