Eight-foot-tall 204K and 304K wheel loaders are new models in the Deere lineup, designed for low-clearance applications. They are a foot shorter than other models, and they have rigid front and rear axles. Power ratings are 59 horsepower for the 204K and 64 for the 3'04K; each has a Tier 4-lnterim engine, two-speed transmission, and limited slip differential. Operating weight for the 204K is 11,806 pounds, with breakout force of 9,190 pounds. The 304K operating weight is 12,778 pounds with 11,839 pounds of breakout force. Transverse-mounted engine allows for quick and convenient daily servicing, Deere says.
