The 12 models in the Deere G Series (670G/GP, 672G/GP, 770G/GP, 772G/GP, 870G/GP, 872G/GP) with net horsepower ranging from 220 to 287 now meet Tier 4-Final emissions standards. Six of the units (those models ending in two: e.g., 872G) feature six-wheel drive for increased traction and a 30-percent increase in blade pull, according to Deere. All models weigh the same as their Tier 4-lnterim predecessors. In addition, there is no sacrifice to visibility going from Tier 4-lnterim to Tier 4-Final engine. The direct-drive transmission with event-based shifting has been retained, and better all-around lighting, a more modern radio, and an improved rearview camera with a dedicated monitor have been added.
