Design Changes for John Deere L Series Backhoes

The recently announced John Deere L Series back-hoe loader lineup includes six models ranging in net horsepower from 70 to 113-the 310L EP, 310L, 310SL, 310SL HL, 315SL, and 410L. New to the line is the 99-horsepower 315SL, a side-shift model that allows the backhoe to move horizontally along an H-frame for digging parallel to structures such as walls and footings. A significant new feature for the 310SL HL (HL for "heavy lift") is a pressure-compensated/load-sensing hydraulic system, also featured on the 410L as a carry-over from the 410K.
