New control panel makes powder application simple

A new automated electrostatic control panel can change the way manufacturers apply flavourings and coatings to confectionery products. The user-friendly system, launched by Spice Application Systems (SAS), can automatically register and store precise air flow application figures for up to 100 different powders going through a production line. That means each time a product or flavouring is changed, operators only need to key in a product code number to apply the exact amount of air flow for the appropriate powder.
