Complementing the focus of the trade shows on the personal differences of artisan craftmanship, Europain and Intersuc's 650 exhibitors and competitors lean more heavily towards new products, premium pastries and patisserie, and creative ways with ingredients and chocolate. Confectionery Production was kindly invited to attend by AED, the agency for trade fairs in the Paris region, and enjoyed it alongside the other 86,000 visitors. Despite the strong French leaning, the shows played host to a high number of international visitors - 126 countries with the highest turnout from Spain, Belgium and Italy.
