Improving the lives of cocoa farmers

ADM Cocoa, Swisscontact, a Zurich based international development agency, and the Government of West Sumatra have made cocoa sustainability news by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU aims to improve the livelihoods of thousands of cocoa farmers in this province of Indonesia. The parties have agreed to work together in a pilot programme targeting farmers in the adjoining regencies of Lima Puluh Kota, Padang Pariaman and Tanah Datar.
