The Mondelez International group has confirmed an agreement to acquire a majority interest in the US-based Perfect Snacks nutrition bar range. Financial details surrounding the deal for the brand of healthier option products including several chocolate enhanced options, are not being revealed. However, Mondelez said its newly acquired business, which specialises in organic, non-GMO, nut-butter based protein bars and bites, represented a strong addition to its portfolio, which spans Oreo, Cadbury, Milka and belVita, as well as Tate's.
