To celebrate 25 years of partnership, Lindt & Spruengli Travel Retail, general manager Peter Zehnder presented Dubai Duty Free COO Ramesh Cidambi with a Special Recognition Award. The accolade features an upscaled version of Lindt's iconic LINDOR ball, and serves to highlightthe significance of Dubai Duty Free to the success of Lindt as the number one premium confectionery brand in travel retail. Alongside the award, Cidambi was also presented with handmade Lindt Swiss chocolate in the form of four miniature models of the Burj Khalifa Tower. The UK-based Hotel Chocolat Group has recorded an upturn in sales figures over the past six months, despite rising supply costs. According to the business, for the 13-week and 26-week periods ended 29 December 2019, its revenues increased 11 per cent year-on-year. Furthermore, total group revenue for the 26-week period increased 14 per cent.
