COMADEM of Rolling Element Bearings: Utilization of Used Grease Analysis

This paper describes a low cost grease analysis technique in a predictive maintenance of rolling element bearing programme, Crease consistency is an important property of grease. Used grease analysis comprises Consistency Analysis, Contamination and Wear Debris Analysis, Used Grease Wear Debris Analysis, Blotter Paper lest, Crease Degradation Assessment and Dropping Point of Crease.
