There are many sources of information regarding CE marking. Government website,www.gov.u,and the European Commission website,www.ec.europa.eu.Gov.uk currently statesthat MCE marking is mandatory, but onlyfor those products which are coveredby the scope of one or more of the NewApproach Directives”. Although this soundsstraightforward, in reality the process of CEmarking is much more complex.
