Im Zuge der neuen TGV-Schnellbahntrasse von Brüssel nach Köln werden modernste Techniken im Wegebau eingesetzt. Die Bahntrasse läuft entlang der Autobahn A3/E40. Im Teilstück von Liege bis zur deutschen Grenze müssen neben umfangreichen Erdarbeiten auch vier Brücken erbaut werden. Das Besondere bei diesen Brücken liegt darin, dass alle komplett aus Betonfertigteilen erstellt werden.%The very latest techniques in road construction are being applied within the scope of constructing the new high-speed railroad link between Brussels and Cologne. The route for the track runs parallel to the A3/E40 highway. In the section between Liege and the border with Germany, there is much earthwork needed besides the four bridges that have to be built. The special feature of the bridges here is that they all have to be constructed using precast concrete members.
