Rapid construction progress and tightly sealed structures

Deutsche Immobilien AG 2012 is in the process of completing a prestigious residential, commercial and hotel complex near the Berlin railroad station Friedrichstrasse. For this project, Dywidag-Systems International (DSI) supplied the waterproofing with Contec systems:To attain the required high impervi-ousness to standing groundwater as economically as possible, a continuous area of 5.000 m~2 was sealed on the outside with Preprufe composite fresh concrete waterproofing sheets. Preprufe is a multilayer, resistant HDPE waterproofing sheet comprised of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a trafficable weather-resistant acrylic coating, and a detachable protective film. Preprufe forms an adhesive bond to the fresh concrete cast against it.
