More effective monitoring of effluent parameters:Monitoring of small wastewater treatment systems

In Germany, it is unlikely that the rate of households connected to centralized wastewater treatment facilities will surpass 95% even in the long term. Consequently, up to 4 million inhabitants will not be connected to the public wastewater disposal system, which is why decentralized wastewater treatment will remain an essential element. This means that over 1 million installed small wastewater treatment systems should be anticipated in the long term.
